Beira has a tropical savanna climate, characterized by high temperatures, high humidity, strong hurricanes, and high salt spray. This necessitates a C5-M level corrosion resistance rating for the steel structure, hence the recommended "hot-dip galvanizing + fluorocarbon coating". Furthermore, the roofing system utilizes aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy sheets with a thickness ≥0.6mm or high weather-resistant aluminum-zinc coated sheets to withstand hurricanes.

The Challenge: The project is located in Beira, Mozambique, a coastal city prone to high humidity and salt-mist corrosion. The investor required a massive 9,000+ sqm space to be delivered within a strict 60-day manufacturing window.
